While out looking for a weather feature, on a day when it wasn’t really even raining, I found a patch of green and orange, next to dried mud, next to a marsh, under some clouds. Seemed to work.

I made this photo back in September of the annual cross country relays at Stinson Beach in California. I liked the photo a lot at the time, but had not thought about it much since then. Today, a reader was nice enough to send me an email today letting me know how much he liked the photo. I rarely hear from readers, so it was a nice way to end the day.

Fog rolls into San Francisco Bay through the Golden Gate. Early explorers did not know the bay was there for years because of the fog.

I shot some planes today, always fun. The vintage planes were gathered for an event honoring some local Tuskegee Airmen.
